Major changes from version 4 to version 5
The new JukeCD has a completely redesigned interface.
Behind the scenes
New database engine requiring no external DLL files and Vista compatibility. There is a conversion routine to bring version 4 data into the program.
Data structure changes and additions
Artist name in First Name Last Name format only – no more file name.
Artist Prefix added to contain “THE” or other prefixes.
Label added for the CD publisher, i.e. Columbia, RCA, etc.
Published year added.
Genre added.
Stores the date CD information is added to data.
Stores the date the CD information is last modified.
Program functions
CD Grid – completely new and very functional grid. Select fields to display, sort on multiple columns, easy filtering, change color scheme, move and size columns, edit data in the grid and much more. Scroll in grid with mouse wheel or vertical slide bar.
Print the CD Grid.
Select the CD-ROM/DVD drive to use for CDDB Disc Recognition.
CDDB Disc Recognition brings in publisher, year published and genre.
Import from CD files such as iTunes.
Open/Close CD tray from CD information screen – optional auto open function when using CDDB Disc Recognition.
Easy Suppress/Restore track printing.
Check box to select CDs for title card printing – the Print Basket concept has been removed.
Title Cards
See all the properties for a title card item at one time.
Change the standard arrow text.
Change the arrow text font color.
2 colored shading areas for card design. Size and position adjustable.
Optional displaying of card borders in the preview even when not printing them on the title cards to make setup easier.
Optional displaying of border around tracks printing area for easier setup.
Warnings when changing card size will not fit on current paper setting.
Improved Print Settings saving and adding.
Column settings now a space between value instead of a left margin value.
