If you download the installation file with Internet Explorer, there is a possibility that the file extension will be removed. This seems to be a security function of the IE and we have not seen this behavior in other browsers such as Chrome and Firefox. If the file extension is removed the installation file will not run as it should. To fix this you will need to rename the downloaded file. The current installation files are named as shown below:
So, in your downloads folder you will see the file without the extension, ie JB5Install or JCD5Install. Rename the files by adding the .exe to the end of the file name. To rename the file, right-click on the downloaded installation file and select Rename from the popup menu.
Now you can double-click on the renamed installation file and the installation process will begin.
Support and upgrade options are only available to customers that have registered their license code. By registering your license code you provide us with the information needed to provide support and upgrades. If you purchase directly from us you do not need to register.
There is absolutely no difference between installation file regardless of the delivery method. Whether you download the installation file or receive the program on CD, the program that is installed is the same.
